Video message from IFAH President

Brussels, 4 October, 2013 – Jeff Simmons, President of the International Federation for Animal Health (IFAH), addressed the animal health industry across the world today with a message of encouragement, highlighting various accomplishments over the past year and outlining current and future priorities.

Underlining the value of healthy animals to society, IFAH’s President calls on global leaders to develop innovative solutions in animal health and the food chain to meet the challenging needs of the future. With a growing population and the accompanying demand for animal produce he re-enforces IFAH’s goal to promote a balanced regulatory environment relying on science-based decision-making that supports innovation, in order to provide veterinarians, farmers and animal owners with new products to fight disease.
